It’s like I’ve done so much wrong, I don’t deserve the love. Still burying my fears, barely standing above. My feet sinks and I know the truth. I can run from the pain, but it’ll take root.
Yet, here you are, giving me your all. I’m a faithful mess, but you still answer my call. Sweet all the time like chocolate chips. When I catch an attitude, you crack the whip.
I have to settle down when she comes around. For reasons unexplained, were like a chain. Link after link we hold strong. If I’m the fury, she is the soothing song.
