Sometimes, the memories can’t fade and pain resonates at any given time. Then, the momentum you have is slowed down. You can live in those moments and feel the happiness all over again, but you know it’s not real. You pushed, moved on, and sailed to the present.
Both of us have.
Still there is no release from your hold. No way out of these catacombs of us. These very thoughts hold me captive. Chained to the connection of what remains.
I'm and up and coming writer from Memphis, Tennessee that believes we are all born to play our part in the universe. I'm on a mission to inspire others as well as stir your imagination through my passion for words. Here, you'll find inspirational poetry, all original fictions, and random events about my life. If you're reading this, please take a moment to comment or send an email so I can thank you personally for taking the time to read my work. That and I really like to connect with others and learn your story as well. My first novel will be releasing July 7, 2020 titled "Universing". Thank you for visiting my corner of the web.

It is interesting that something very little at just the right moment, like a sunset, a song, or a person smiling at you, can cause that insight and change. Once you are ready, that outer trigger only gives the last kick.
