I have so few words to say on the subject. The caliber of remorse equals the ones I’ve upset. Nobody is perfect and I’m still changing. Let’s give a warm welcome to the estranging.
With attitude in hand and doubt in our hearts. Who’s to say hate isn’t love when we’re apart?
Promises broken and dreams have gone down the drain. A swirling mess of true feelings turned into complains. Did you know the distance between all of us isn’t real? Time is what keeps us apart and our stubborn wills.
Last day of 2022 and I have one more thing worth mentioning. The ones that care for you are few and the rest aren’t listening.
Here’s to 2023. May it be the year that changes things in good ways!
I'm and up and coming writer from Memphis, Tennessee that believes we are all born to play our part in the universe. I'm on a mission to inspire others as well as stir your imagination through my passion for words. Here, you'll find inspirational poetry, all original fictions, and random events about my life. If you're reading this, please take a moment to comment or send an email so I can thank you personally for taking the time to read my work. That and I really like to connect with others and learn your story as well. My first novel will be releasing July 7, 2020 titled "Universing". Thank you for visiting my corner of the web.
