All the versions of love that I’ve experienced has forced me to discover who I am. The imperfections of a troubled youth turned man inevitably. Grown, but without the growth needed to be the love I seek. Endlessly crushing hearts thinking that’s what a man does. Surveying the devastation of the last one past, I now know what true power is within every man. Not the money, not fame, not muscles or style. It’s the discipline it takes to save your love for that one. To be true through and through. Assertive with your wants and needs. Empathizing her’s. Perhaps my gratitude is what draws me to you? I’ll never quite understand it.
