The truth on the sidewalk

I was once stuck in an alley.
Made a left instead of a right.
A choice that was wrong, not right.
I had to find a way out.

Turning back was not the answer.
Time flows forward, never backwards.
So I searched the dank alley to avail.
A found a ladder and prevailed.

Now I stand on a roof,feeling proud.
A new vantage point for piece of mind.
But now I’m stuck with no way down.
Time flows forward,never backwards.
The ladder is no where to be found.

Learn from this and never choose to lie. It’s a wrong turn down the alley and up the wall. When time runs out for this lie, you plunge to the truth.

*Thanks for reading*
