What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?

I’ve had a large number of jobs throughout my 41 years on this spinning rocking. I’m no stranger to change, even when it comes to career fields. I’d like to blame the younger for his blame optimism or the idea of doing a handful of odd jobs while enlisted. Doesn’t matter what your job is in the military, you just got to get the job done. They’ll turn a cook into a crane operator on the spot if that’s what was needed!

And now I have all these experiences full of “how to” do things that doesn’t quite translate to one single career field out here in the civilian world. I can do electrical and home building work, but have no license to do so. I make one hell of a handy man now though!

Nonetheless, here’s a quick list of career fields I’d do when the opportunity arises.

• Escort
• Logistics
• HVAC Ops Management
• Jedi
• House Husband
• Apple Store team member

Obviously some of these options are spoofs, but I’ll let you decipher the truth!
