Suppose the one you love just pretends to love you in return. Maybe you’ve been here and had some concern. Thought you jumped out the furnace and still got burned. Another award winning performance that is now adjourned.
Nobody is perfect despite your mirror’s reflection. My past flaws held more weight than what we had destined. Perhaps it’s another failure on a repeated lesson. That’s fine, class is in, but I’m done with all the testing.
So empty hearted now due to love’s transgressions. I’m a singular entity, this must be better then. She framed the pain like an 1800’s painter. Then comes female anger grabbing her, taking her.
Life is short and I’m running out of Tik toc. I’m indoors. Love’s knocking, but my door is locked.
