All actions have consequences. Even the hard work of a soldier. The one that trades his homeland paradise for blistering heat of a foreign, desert warzone is not exempt. That is made painfully clear to me as the smoke clears after this home raid. Now I stand, staring at a wall full of photos of me from numerous angles at different locations and times. One up close of me at the eastern checkpoint. Another of me smoking a cig before getting into my tactical vehicle. They even have images from my social media profile without the dirt and grime of war brushed across my face. While I’ve been here, stopping terrorism to be a hero back home, I’ve become a terror to them here.
I'm and up and coming writer from Memphis, Tennessee that believes we are all born to play our part in the universe. I'm on a mission to inspire others as well as stir your imagination through my passion for words. Here, you'll find inspirational poetry, all original fictions, and random events about my life. If you're reading this, please take a moment to comment or send an email so I can thank you personally for taking the time to read my work. That and I really like to connect with others and learn your story as well. My first novel will be releasing July 7, 2020 titled "Universing". Thank you for visiting my corner of the web.
