Always dreaming

Walked into a bookstore just the other day. Stared at the New Release section longer than I want to say. As if my novel would magically appear on the top self. Imagining people fighting over the only copy left. Mind gone because I’m number one on NY Times Best Selling List. Heart pounds thinking of all the glory and satisfaction that could come with this. Truth be told, I’ll just be happy to make any list of the sort. I’ll be grateful forever if you chose my book to court. I left the bookstore with all these possibilities. One day I’ll break free and disregard all negative tendencies.
Goodbye procrastination. Hello again, determination.

Just a quick thought for all those artist or writers out there. Keep the dream alive and lets keep moving. Lets get through this week.

Be powerful.

  1. I can relate to that feeling so well by experience. When I had my book signing in Pasadena 2 1/2 years ago. My 75 copies were gone within 30 minutes! An incredible feeling as a no-name author!

      1. Haha! That’s a bit difficult actually… lol! Because my publisher sits in the States and I am here in Europe. But if you considered to join the Blogger Bash in Chicago on August 26 then I could sign the book for you!!

      2. There is no registration yet! It is organised by Lisa lifeofanelpasowoman.com But what is known by now is only the city and the date. They will come up with the location this month! So save the date for now ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I can’t even tell how many times I’ve imagined myself to be a NY times best selling writer. Lol. And who doesn’t love book stores and libraries? :’)
