I don’t have a pet. I’ve had 2 of my own once upon a time and they both succumbed to their high metabolism life spans. I had a dog as a child that lived until he was 13 and died when I was 17. Then, my ex-wife left me with the cat, who turned out to be my little ball of sunshine in Russian Blue format. He lived for 14 years.
Pets are a great experience. I hope to be able to share the full range of emotions that come with pets one day. Until then, I’m petless.
