The Lure

What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

Plenty risks come to mind. I’ve always wanted to snowboard in Colorado or hang glide in Arizona. Even ride in a hot air balloon. Those are all fun sized risks compared to the next one.

Being able to bet it all on my writing talents and endeavors instead of working the 9-5 job would be quite the risk. Freeing up 40 hours of my week for pure, raw creation on the page along with other facets of media would be so much more fulfilling than just making money to pay bills, you know?

Don’t get me wrong, I’d like a substantial amount of dough for my talents, but I want all the free time to add to the lure of our world. I mean we still need a Shakespeare of our generation and such.

I bet he didn’t work a 9-5 Haha!

All love, gang. Thanks for reading.

  1. Your post made me think of what I often think: one life is not enough for everything I would like to do. However, when I look back at what I really wanted in life I can proudly say that I reached it all. I still have dreams but no pressure since I reached everything that has been important to me… and even more.

    1. I know, Erika! So many things to do with finite amount of time and energy to get it done. The gift in life is we get to take a step at a time. I’m glad you got all the most important bases covered with still plenty of living to do. Let’s keep that trend going as long as possible, shall we?
