Writing a novel is very enduring. I’ve always thought I could create an outline and get all the snags of plot movement out of the formula, but I’m beginning to discover it doesn’t quite work like it should seem.
Their are just things you can’t see in your story until you actually take a seat and put pen to paper or whatever writing weapon you choose). The word count my not be long enough and how do you connect subplot A to B without making it look forced or out of sync? No one likes to read a scene that doesn’t quite belong in your book after all.
These are all things I’m starting to learn now that I’ve taken my writing career seriously. I don’t want to sound like a downer or anything, but I just wanted to tell all you other writers out there how my process was coming along. Maybe it’s different for you? Maybe you don’t get snagged or maybe you do. Feel free to tell me about your writing woes in the comments below. Don’t be shy. We’re all friends here 😁
